In 1930, the sanctuary was given an apse, including two stained glass windows by Margaret Rope in the William Morris tradition.
The stained glass windows in the southwest wall are much older; the four main windows have thier origin in a Cologne workshop of the early 16th century. For a time they were installed in the cloister of Steinfeld Abbey. They seem to have been brought to Llanarth by a member of the Herbert family in the 1880s, and installed within existing patterned windows.
The windows are in good condition but nevertheless are in urgent need of restoration work, for which a survey has been commissioned. Grants are being applied for but financial support for the windows and the other work needed on the church fabric would be much appreciated.
Elsewhere in the church there is an engaging stained-glass window of Saint David, and another of Saint Therese of Lisieux.
There is also a fine window depicting Saint Michael. The church is well worth visiting for the stained-glass alone,
