In recent years the fabric of the church has deteriorated, and essential maintenance work is now overdue. A recent survey states that there are no structural problems, but there is need for some extensive refurbishment.

Therefore the ‘Friends of Llanarth Catholic Church’ has been established with three
objectives:
1. The restoration and maintenance of the building
2. The restoration, maintenance or replacement of the furnishings of the church
3. The promotion of the Church as an historic building

All this will need money, and this is where you can help.

To become a Friend you can choose how to subscribe from four different ways:

1. By a gift of any amount you choose. Cheques to: St Mary and St Michael, Llanarth

2. By an annual payment of £24 (= 50p per week) via Bankers’ order on back page.

3. By joining ‘The Spartans Club,’ becoming one of the 300 (as at the battle of 
Thermopylae!) with a one-off payment of £100, and an annual subscription of £24 together with a gift aid form, so that we can get the Government to help as well.

4. By completing a standing order for a monthly amount of your choice.

Whichever way you choose to help, we will be most grateful and would urge you to
complete the Gift Aid Declaration below, so that we can reclaim the tax. (Higher rate payers will get 17p per £ back on their own tax!!) Then complete the Bankers’ Order overleaf.
